Furious Love (M) – movie screening
In the lead up to vision month and our annual conference, HOPE 2013, we will be screening free documentaries over 3 Wednesday nights.
The second movie, Furious Love, will screen on 27th February from 7pm to 9pm at both our Brisbane and Toowoomba campuses.
Furious Love asks the question: “What does radical love look like?”
Greg Boyd remarks, “Christians are known for a lot of things. . . but not their outrageous love.” He challenges the church at large, stating that real love ministers to real needs, so we need to let our lives be the message and simply start loving people.
This film travels the world to some of the darkest spiritual climates on the planet – demon tents, New Age and Witchcraft festivals, the persecuted church, heroin addicts, the sex trade… and shows that they are no match for the raw power of God’s unconditional love. This powerful, haunting film will open your eyes to the war raging around us all, and will challenge everything you know about the strength and majesty of a God who furiously fights for us with the greatest weapon in the world… Love.
The screening will include a light supper.
