On Sunday 17th February we will be having a special service to celebrate 60 years of Hope City Church making a difference in people’s lives. We invite you to join with us at our 9:30am service at Grovely State School Performing Arts Complex to hear from people as they share their personal experience of the difference being part of the church family has made. Afterwards, we invite you to stay around and chat over a special celebration morning tea.
We spoke on Sunday of our need for each other and how important it is to do life together. It’s together where we get a fuller revelation of who God is and what He looks like. I don’t know about you but I don’t want to do life alone, I can’t make it alone.
Acts 2:42 is says: “All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.
The believers were intentional about meeting together and devoted themselves to each other in prayer, studying the bible, and sharing meals together. We can grow and sharpen each other in a small group setting that’s just not possible in any other setting. We need others and others need us. Each of us has a unique perspective and life journey that could bless someone else on the journey of life – “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17). Why not find a life group to join this year..
