On Sunday 17th February we will be having a special service to celebrate 60 years of Hope City Church making a difference in people’s lives. We invite you to join with us at our 9:30am service at Grovely State School Performing Arts Complex to hear from people as they share their personal experience of the difference being part of the church family has made. Afterwards, we invite you to stay around and chat over a special celebration morning tea.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
– John 3:16

No matter how many times I read over the life of Jesus throughout the Bible, I am still awe-struck by the phenomenal and powerful love of our God. Throughout His life on earth, Jesus made great sacrifice all for the sake of seeing the world He so greatly loved come to know Him.
As we come to this time each year I am reminded of why we do what we do at conference. It would be easy just to have a great church event with guest speakers, food and good company but the reason we come together for HOPE2014 is much, much bigger.
HOPE2014 is about following in the footsteps of Jesus. It’s about;
up a hunger in our hearts to see our world transformed.
that no matter our schedule, skills or abilities we all have something to bring to see our world transformed.
each other and those around us with what we need to bring change in our communities.
HOPE2014 carries the heartbeat of our saviour – “for the sake of the world”. Let me encourage you to do everything you can to block out the time to be there.
