Cambodia – 30th October 2016
Categories: Hope Project Trips
The Team spent the week both educating and entertaining over 100 children in Svay Pak, Cambodia, teaching Proverbs with science. Let’s just say it went off like a rocket😉. Hilarious!!
It is a very real privilege serving Agape International Missions and hanging out with their team for a couple of weeks.
We did First Aid training with a large group from the community, as well as the house moms who look after children who are unable to live in community at this time due to the risks present. It’s all about capacity building and helping to give people the confidence to assist and teach others. It was great!
Mucking around with some of AIM’s young adult leaders. Workshops focused on communication were delivered to this energetic and committed group of leaders.
After a HUGE week, the Team headed to Siem Reap for some much needed R and R… Involving a Jeep drive to a fishing village where we ate at the home of a family there in a stilt house over Lake Tonle Sap. Today we visited Angkor Wat and Bayon temple before chillaxing before flying back to Phnom Penh tonight.
