On Sunday 17th February we will be having a special service to celebrate 60 years of Hope City Church making a difference in people’s lives. We invite you to join with us at our 9:30am service at Grovely State School Performing Arts Complex to hear from people as they share their personal experience of the difference being part of the church family has made. Afterwards, we invite you to stay around and chat over a special celebration morning tea.
The Best is Yet to Come
It’s been a big a year already!
So many things have happened in the life of our church and in the lives of many within our church. We’ve seen God do some great things in and through our church but I believe the best is yet to come.
As we embark on the home stretch of the year, it’s a time where we have been intentional about our vision for 2016 – BUILD 2016.
This home stretch is a time where we can
- ESTABLISH God’s Kingdom
- STRENGTHEN Relationships and see
- INCREASE in your life.
Whether it’s through the numbers of guest ministries at this time or the events like Hope at Christmas and the Childhood Cancer Support Makeover; there are many ways through which you can outwork each aspect of the vision in your own life.
Let me encourage you to lock these dates in your diary and do all you can to be the church God has called us to be. Avail yourself of these opportunities to grow; to invite people and to engage with those around you in a meaningful way.
Before you know it, this year will be over. My prayer is that you would finish the year strong, blessed and ready for this next season that God has for us.
See you on Sunday
